Always suffering from colds, sore throat, runny nose and cough?

ColdGet help quickly the natural way.The common cold is typically caused by viruses transmitted by skin contact or via the air. Antibiotics are only active against bacteria, but not against viruses.

Three things are generally most important: get rest, stay warm, and drink plenty of fluids.

Here are ways you can help relieve your cold symptoms:

  • Use a sweating cure*
  • Take contrast baths for your feet
  • Supplement with vitamin C
  • Drink plenty of fluids, especially fresh juices, tea and water
  • Use PASCOLEUCYN® Drops or GRIPPS® at the first sign of illness

Sweating cure
Caution: Do not use in children under 5 years of age. Use only if you/your child are running a mild fever of not more than 38°C. Use only if you have a healthy heart and good circulation.

When you feel a cold coming on, run a tub bath of initially 37°C. Also prepare some ‘sweating tea’ (see below). Drink the tea as hot as possible. Now take your full bath, slowly increasing its temperature to 40°C. However, you should not be exposed to this maximum temperature for more than three minutes. Then bundle up in warm blankets and lie down in your bed to sweat for approximately half an hour. Thereafter, it is important to dry yourself carefully, put on fresh undergarments, and then rest for a while.

‘Sweating tea’ recipe:
Place 2 teaspoons of elder flowers or 2 teaspoons of linden flowers in 250ml water, allow to steep for 10 minutes (the teas can of course be mixed if you prefer); 1 teaspoon of honey and 1 teaspoon of lemon juice may be added to improve taste.
